This tree is renowned for its purifying virtues, adopting a eucalyptus is showing wisdom by surrounding yourself with health benefits.

With silvery gray or sometimes bluish green foliage, we also choose it for its very pretty decorative appearance and its divine smell!

It can be placed outdoors as well as indoors. You can put your eucalyptus outside from May until September. Bring it inside before the cold weather hits. It will be happy in your garden or on your balcony sheltered from the wind.

It really likes sun and brightness, even direct sun.

Indoors, place it in front of a south-facing window ideally.

The key to success ? The water ! Lots of water ! It really likes humidity. You can water it every day, without flooding it 😉 Eucalyptus is sensitive to excess water. My eucalyptus plant loves living and growing in my bathroom.

You can pamper it by sprinkling it with water from time to time. Pschitt pschitt! Not with the laundry water from Pivoinerie Lili, tap water!

Eucalyptus can grow very large and very impressive. However, it needs space to grow. To do this, you can pinch the plants (i.e. cut the stems) when they are 3 to 4 inches tall, if they do not branch naturally. Your eucalyptus will then become more “garnished”.

You can plant it in a large pot or in a space of at least 40 centimeters.

Care: Cut off the tips and prune dead twigs if they become dry.

Adopt a baby eucalyptus!

Eucalyptus is an evergreen tree widely used for its medicinal properties. Although native to Australia, this popular tree now grows in many parts of the world.
